BMW M MOTORSPORT UPDATES 2026 ROSTER WITH SOME SOUTH AFRICAN FIREPOWER: JORDAN PEPPER!

BMW M Motorsport is bolstering its 2026 roster with some proper South African firepower: Jordan Pepper is officially joining the factory line-up, becoming the third SA driver to wear BMW M colours alongside Sheldon and Kelvin van der Linde. Pepper will be racing the BMW M4 GT3 EVO next season, with his exact programme still under wraps, but the CV speaks for itself. The 29-year-old arrives with a stack of global GT silverware — Spa 24H winner in 2025, DTM title contender in his debut full season, runner-up in both the GT World Challenge Europe Sprint and Endurance Cups, Petit Le Mans GTD-PRO winner, Bathurst 12 Hour champion, GTWC America champion… and that’s before you even scroll back to his Scirocco R Cup title a decade ago. BMW isn’t just signing another driver; they’re signing one of the world’s most consistently deadly GT3 operators.

BMW M Motorsport boss Andreas Roos calls Pepper the perfect fit for a line-up built to chase global GT victories, praising his rapid rise and serious form over the last two seasons. Pepper himself sounds like a kid finally getting the keys to the car he always wanted, calling BMW a brand he grew up admiring back home. He’s ready to put in the winter grind to learn the M4 GT3 EVO, and he’s especially amped about linking up with the van der Linde brothers — childhood friends turned world-class rivals turned, finally, factory teammates. The dream? Win races together for the same manufacturer. With BMW’s 2026 programme shaping up to be massive, that dream might not be far off.

Jordan Pepper: “It’s very exciting to begin a new chapter of my career with BMW M Motorsport. In South Africa, BMW is a very prestigious brand that I grew up with and always admired. My path into professional racing in Europe, however, took me through other manufacturers. Now I have the opportunity to drive for BMW M Motorsport, and I’m extremely excited about it. Over the years, I’ve seen how strong they are as competitors, and now I’m looking forward to driving the BMW M4 GT3 EVO for the first time. I know that adapting to a new car is always a challenge, and I’ll need to get used to the car over the winter but I generally like this type of car, as I’ve spent much of my career in similar cars. I can’t wait to work with all the great drivers at BMW M Motorsport – including, of course, Sheldon and Kelvin van der Linde. We’ve known each other since we were kids and are good friends. We’ve always dreamed of winning races together. Now we’re with the same manufacturer, and hopefully, we’ll get the chance to make that dream come true someday.”
