This Volvo Amazon 122 looks pretty much stock from the outside but on the inside, it currently makes 420 hp which is over 100 hp more than the fastest VW Golf ever made!
This Volvo Amazon 122 has a 5.7 litre LS1 under the hood that makes 420 hp at the wheels, a T10 4-speed transmission is rear-wheel drive and weighs in at just 2,500 lbs. The brand new Golf 8 R, on the other hand, is a turbocharged 2.0 litre 4 cylinder that produces 315 hp and has a 7-speed dual-clutch transmission sending power to all four wheels, however, it weighs in at a heavier 3,400 lbs.
