CORVETTE C8 TAKES ON TESLA MODEL 3

The Chevrolet Corvette C8 is without a double one of the most popular sportscars out there currently but how will it hold up against the underrated electric Tesla Model 3.

The Chevrolet Corvette C8 was first announced in July 2019 and features a mid-engine 6.2L V8 that pushes out 495bhp and 630Nm of torque through an 8-speed dual-clutch transmission. The Tesla Model 3, however, is a completely different concept altogether, but don't be fooled by its "electric" status though, if converted into horsepower it pushes out the equivalent of 450bhp and a staggering 639Nm of torque – which makes it a very fair match for the Chevrolet Corvette C8. One thing to keep in mind, however, is that the Tesla Model 3 sports an all-wheel-drive system, while the Chevrolet Corvette C8 is rear-wheel-drive, which will help the Tesla Model 3 to get off the line much quicker.
