ELON MUSK TAKES DELIVERY OF HIS MCLAREN F1 (1999)

Check out this flashback to an interview of Elon Musk in 1999, when the young South African-born entrepreneur took delivery of a brand new McLaren F1.

The name Elon Musk is ubiquitous, and the man best known for being the CEO of companies such as Tesla, Space X and The Boring Company. But back in the year 1999, he sold his digital company, Zip2 – which enabled newspapers to publish their print digitally – for $400,000,000. Needless to say, he made a car purchase that he had dreamed of. He said during this interview that there are 62 McLaren's and he will own 1 of them.

In the video, you'll see Elon Musk's brand new McLaren F1 rolling off the truck, and we get to see his first impressions of the legendary three-seater sportscar which, at the time, was the fasters production car in the world!
