FORMULA 1 2021 – NEW REGULATIONS EXPLAINED
Here is a breakdown of the new regulations implemented for the Formula 1 race teams by the FIA for 2021.
After one of the most interrupted seasons in Formula 1 history last year, the FIA has now laid out their new rules and regulations for the upcoming 2021 season, which is set to start at the end of March.
The Formula 1 race teams will carry over their cars from last year to compete in the 2021 season, with a few changes made to the cars, as well as new rules and restrictions to the teams themselves.
Furthermore, there are numerous design changes to both weight, aerodynamics and downforce that need to be met. These will need to comply with the new FIA rules, alongside new green and environmentally friendly materials that are now legal to use such as flax, hemp, linen, cotton and bamboo.
