PORSCHE IS BORROWING WORKERS FROM AUDI

With an unexpected demand for Porsche Taycan's, Porsche is borrowing workers from Audi.

Porsche has recently experienced an unexpected spike in the demand for the electric Porsche Taycan since they started taking orders for it back in 2018, so much in fact, that Porsche simply doesn't have the capacity of workers at the plants to assemble them. Their solution is to offer 400 workers at Audi a contract at Porsche for at least two years in order for the German sports car brand to meet their demands.

Porsche has chosen to offer Audi employees this opportunity as they are a part of the same automotive group.

What we find pretty interesting about all this is that it clearly shows the demand and interest for electric cars worldwide, and this is just the beginning.

Take a look at the discussion in the video below by YouTube channel, LaterClips, on why Porsche is borrowing workers from Audi.
