ROLLING MASTERPIECES HAVE ARRIVED THANKS TO THE BENTLEY DUTCH MASTERS COLLECTION - LITERAL ART IN MOTION.

Bentley didn’t just visit the Rijksmuseum in Amsterdam; it pretty much moved in. Taking centre stage among Rembrandt, Van Gogh and Vermeer, three one-off Mulliner Bentleys formed the heart of an unforgettable evening that fused fine art with fine engineering. Known as the Dutch Masters Collection, the trio celebrates craftsmanship, timeless elegance and the enduring influence of Dutch artistic heritage, all reinterpreted through the lens of Bentley Mulliner. The first commission draws inspiration from Rembrandt’s 1642 masterpiece The Night Watch. Finished in Midnight Emerald, the Continental GT Convertible mirrors the drama and depth of the original canvas. Inside, flashes of Hotspur red echo the sash worn by Captain Frans Banninck Cocq, while Magnolia hide, inspired by the lieutenant’s coat, contrasts with rich Cumbrian green secondary leather. Piano-finished fascia and waistrails are colour-matched to the interior, offset by opulent gold air vent organ stops. A playful flourish appears after dark, when the welcome lamp projects a feather animation onto the ground, a nod to the plume worn by the lieutenant, with the same motif repeated on the door cards, treadplates and front fenders.

Johannes Vermeer’s mastery of light and colour forms the basis of the second car, a Continental GT finished in a Sapphire satin exterior. Mulliner’s designers leaned into Vermeer’s luminous blues and yellows, pairing Beluga and Ocean blue hides with Citric yellow accents and vivid Klein blue seat piping. A panoramic sunroof floods the cabin with light, while the door cards and welcome lamp animation reference the cloud formations from The Little Street. Piano Black veneers anchor the interior, while finer details, such as a Klein blue-painted accent ring and knurled bezel on the Bentley Rotating Display, underline the depth of bespoke craftsmanship at work.

The third commission channels the restless genius of Vincent van Gogh. Finished in Dark Sapphire with delicate Khamun yellow pinstriping, this Continental GT draws heavily from The Starry Night. The swirling sky and glowing moon are recreated in the welcome lamp animation and etched door card panels, while the interior blends Imperial blue, Linen and Khamun hues. A dual-finish Piano Linen veneer is bisected by a Dark Sapphire pinstripe, mirroring the exterior. Van Gogh’s use of Indian yellow finds its modern counterpart in the Bentley’s Khamun accent hide, contrast stitching and embroidered Bentley emblems. Further bespoke touches include an open-pore chiselled Walnut centre console and gold knurled air vent organ stops.

Each of the three Dutch Masters Bentleys is accompanied by a bespoke presentation key box, trimmed in matching hide and laser-etched with its artist’s unique motif, feather, clouds or night sky. All feature Blackline and Touring specifications, body-coloured styling kits, wellness seating, mood lighting, diamond knurling, the Bentley Rotating Display and a Naim for Bentley sound system, completing a collection that balances restraint with remarkable detail.
