SCUDERIA ALPHATAURI AT04'S LIVERY FOR THE 2023 F1 SEASON HAS BEEN REVEALED - AND IT'S GREAT!

Formula One is one of the most watched motorsports on the planet, you can visit through the most remote villages in the furthest away places and there’s a good possibility that you’ll see a product or clothing with a Formula 1-related logo on it, albeit non-original. This is because It’s also quite an elitist kind of sport too, original licenced products sell for ridiculous money, and the legions of fans are more than happy to hand over their hard-earned cash to own something emblazoned with their favourite team or driver’s logo. Image is everything. This is why there’s an annual fanfare when the various Formula 1 teams reveal a new livery and range of fan clothing. One of the most recent reveals comes from the Red Bull-owned Formula One team Scuderia AlphaTauri, and in true style, it was done at the 2023 instalment of New York Fashion Week at the infamous Lincoln Centre. Here the team, which some say is the sister team to Ferrari, showed off the new livery that will adorn the new AT04 car that will be campaigned throughout 2023, and we must say that it looks really good and will be a treat to watch at race pace on the world’s best racetracks.

While the livery is new, Scuderia AlphaTauri displayed the new look on its now-retired AT03 racecar, but it will look pretty much identical to this on the AT04 version. The first race of the season takes place in March at the Bahrain Grand Prix, and we’ll see the actual AT04 car just before that. Teams usually keep the exact look of their racecars a secret for as long as possible so that other teams can’t steal ideas with their eyes, the sport is so cutthroat that the smallest change to a wing or a louvre can mean the difference between a win and a second-place finish. While we haven’t seen the AT04, we do know that it will be powered by the RBPTH001 turbocharged 1600cc V6 Honda engine coupled to an 8-speed transmission. The car looks more colourful for 2023 with red accents making an appearance which links the car to the corporate colours of Polish oil company PKN Orlen, the team’s new principal partner. The fresh look is great, even though fans have been saying it looks too much like that of rival team Haas.

Take a look at the YouTube video from the recent live reveal of the Scuderia AlphaTauri team's new livery for the 2023 Formula 1 season, along with the range of associated official clothing that we're sure F1 fanatics will spend silly money for: AT04 REVEAL IN NEW YORK! | Scuderia AlphaTauri
