TESLA POWERED NISSAN 350Z WITH A 370Z FRONT – MOST EPIC Z33 BUILD EVER!
The guys over at the Throtl garage have created some of the most epic car builds ever seen, and they are by no means close to running out of ideas!
Their latest build has been ongoing for quite some time, but had taken a bit of a knock as other builds, unfortunately, took preference. But, the time came to finally dust off the old Z33 Nissan 350Z and get the build going once again.
What they have done is simply out of this world! The video starts off with the professionals over at Ghost Wraps installing a gorgeous deep metallic green vinyl. This was done over the brand new Liberty Walk body kit, which is incredibly unique in its own right. This kit has been designed to resemble the front of a Z34 370Z and, therefore, 370Z headlights needed to be bought.
The most outrageous aspect of this 350Z build is the fact that it is going to be Tesla powered, that's right! Throtl is ditching the 3.5 litre V6 for an electric motor and some batteries. In order for the Tesla motor to work with this 350Z, a large part of the rear wheels' hubs needed to be swapped out with Tesla ones, which are a part of the drive train. In doing so, the rear rim size needed to be slightly smaller than the front, which would be compensated with slightly thicker tyres in the rear, making the 350Z look that much more aggressive!
