THE ŠKODA ENYAQ RS RACE IS THE EV COMPETITION CAR THE WORLD NEEDS.

Škoda Motorsport has pushed the boundaries of electrified motorsport with the debut of the all-electric Enyaq RS Race, an adrenaline-pumping racing machine that channels the agility of the legendary Fabia RS Rally2. This project isn't just about speed - it's a bold statement on Škoda’s commitment to a more sustainable, high-performance future. The engineers trimmed every bit of unnecessary weight, incorporating advanced biocomposite materials, including flax fibre, into the body and interior. The result? A race-ready vehicle that's 316 kg lighter than its production counterpart. Up front, the darkened LED headlights proudly bear the Škoda Motorsport logo, flanking an illuminated LED strip that stretches across the grille - replacing the Crystal Face from the road-going model. The 20-inch wheels are tucked under beefier fenders, while the side and rear windows are made from lightweight polycarbonate to keep the weight low. Sustainable biocomposite materials, developed in collaboration with Škoda’s partner Bcomp, cover key areas like the bumpers, roof, fenders, and even the rear wing, cutting down on mass while adding a sleek, purposeful look. The aerodynamics are dialled in for performance, with a massive rear wing and an optimized roofline that channels airflow with surgical precision. Tiny winglets on the roof guide air straight onto that rear wing, while an NACA air intake brings fresh air into the cabin. Meanwhile, the redesigned front end - with wider fenders, extra air curtains, and a revised cooling system - boosts downforce, enhancing stability and handling at high speeds. Ventilation grilles in the wheel arches not only smooth out airflow but also help cool the brakes when things get heated on the track.

Under the skin, this all-electric beast is armed with motors that deliver a combined 250 kW, fed by an 82 kWh battery - just like the production Enyaq RS Coupé. However, the lighter Enyaq RS Race blasts from 0 - 100 km/h in under five seconds and can still reach a top speed of 180 km/h. It also sports a lowered ride height - 70 mm closer to the ground, to be exact - and protective skids under the chassis to safeguard the battery and key components during aggressive driving. Braking power is taken to the next level with carbon-ceramic discs, 10-pot calipers up front, and 4-pot calipers at the rear, combined with a rally-inspired hydraulic handbrake for those hairpin turns. Custom sports suspension lets drivers dial in settings for spring stiffness, compression, and rebound to match any track conditions. Step inside, and it’s clear the Enyaq RS Race draws serious inspiration from the Fabia RS Rally2. The cockpit features Atech racing seats with six-point harnesses, safety door panels, and a high-strength chrome-moly roll cage for maximum protection. The central panel, housing controls for starting the car and activating the automatic fire extinguisher, is tucked between the seats, keeping everything within easy reach. A specially designed steering wheel, paired with linear steering and an optimized drive ratio, puts total control in the driver’s hands. The steering weight is adjustable through software, tailored for peak racing performance. For all you audiophiles out there, Škoda didn’t forget the sound. The Enyaq RS Race features a Havas premium sound system, amped up with a digital sound amplifier to deliver an exhilarating motorsport soundtrack. It’s louder and more aggressive than the production version, with customizable sound profiles that kick in over 30 km/h, ensuring you’ll feel the thrill of the race at every turn.
