THE LATEST BMW M 1000 RR ARRIVES WITH 160 KW ON TAP - AND IT'S A STUNNER.
BMW Motorrad’s high-performance range of superbikes and hyper-naked bikes, including the M 1000 RR, S 1000 RR, M 1000 R, and S 1000 R, is geared up to hit the new season with refined performance and advanced features. Updated across the lineup, these models now include Euro 5+ compliant engines and a new M short-stroke throttle, offering a reduced rotation angle for sharper throttle response. The new M 1000 RR, or M RR, now pumps out an impressive 160 kW, thanks to an upgraded inline-four powerplant and enhanced aerodynamics through a redesigned front fairing. The M Winglets 3.0 deliver even greater downforce, supporting faster lap times or drag times, depending on your racing fancy. A new Flex Frame integrates an updated engine mount, adding stability, while enhanced control systems feature BMW’s Dynamic Traction Control (DTC) with the new Slide Control function enabled by steering angle sensor tech. This technology also powers the innovative Brake Slide Assist in the BMW Race ABS Pro, bringing riders a new level of precision handling. Available in Lightwhite uni for the base variant and Blackstorm metallic for the M Competition model, both versions sport BMW’s signature M colours. And then there’s the BMW S 1000 RR, known as Double-R, which now brings an elevated track experience with BMW’s M short-stroke throttle for instant throttle response. Additional winglets increase downforce, while new brake ducts on the front wheel cover improve cooling. A reshaped fairing adds visual flair. Expanded standard features include Pro riding modes with added “Race Pro” options, throttle and torque customization, Engine Brake and Hill Start Control Pro functions, and a five-level ABS “Slick” setting. Dynamic Brake Control (DBC) now also comes standard, optimizing braking performance. Available colours include the base Blackstorm metallic, the Sport model in Bluestone metallic, and the M Motorsport variant in Lightwhite uni/M Motorsport. This one is pictured in the gallery below.
