THE MANSORY P9LM EVO 900 BASED ON THE 911 TURBO S COUPé HAS US ON THE FENCE

Mansory has done it again, released a conversion package for an already amazing car in an attempt to make it even better. Many of the conversions the famed company does on this scale are seen as a hit or a miss. Oftentimes the styling is so over the top that it can sort of take away from the car’s presence, purists get upset and old-school Fast & Furious fans get excited. We’re a bit different here because firstly, we love Porsche cars, especially the 911 Turbo S Coupe, and we also loved Fast & Furious and were fans of Max Power and so big wings and kits make us happy - when they’re done right. What you see here is what happens when Mansory gets hold of a Porsche and gives it a complete overhaul to become the MANSORY P9LM EVO 900. As the P9LM EVO 900, everything has been fiddled with, and while it is a lot to take in, we think that a very well-executed paint job doesn’t actually lend to the overall appeal of the end result, luckily the vertically changing two-tone special paint finish is available on request only. Imagine this car in the same orange paint as seen on the Cayman R with associated black accents on key parts - yuuuus! As said, it’s a complete makeover and that means attention was paid to the power output too, which also gives a resulting performance increase, not that a Turbo S needs it, but no one ever complained about having more power on tap. As you should be able to see from the images, the body kit is made from forged carbon, and there are also two bodywork versions available to choose from.

The P9LM EVO 900 has enlarged air intakes, side flaps, repositioned daytime running lights, a forged carbon bonnet, striking sills, vented outlets on the wheel arches integrated into the top of the wings and body extensions on the wheel arches all around, air intakes in the rear side panel framed by large air inlets, an intake scoop on the rear window, a newly developed diffuser, and a large retractable rear spoiler with the rear apron. The P9LM runs on FV.5C wheels in a 21/22-inch combination, we like these. There’s a 3-pipe exhaust system, larger VTG turbochargers, 98 mm downpipes with exhaust flaps, a water-cooled intercooler and an ECU tune. This takes the twin-turbocharged 3.8-litre flat 6 to 900 hp with 1 050 Nm of torque, a massive change from the OEM figures of 600 hp and 800 Nm. This upgrade will see the P9LM reach a top speed of 340 km/h and the standstill start sees a 0-100 km/h happen in just 2.5 seconds. Inside there’s been a complete reworking of things, the steering wheel is clad half in carbon and half in leather, and the lateral steering wheel spokes are painted to match the colour of the leather, a completely reupholstered with high-quality, glove-soft leather interior with a choice of colours (also multi-coloured), and the type of pattern, and the decorative stitching and the carbon applications can be individually selected. Where there’s no leather, there’s carbon. Lastly, there are specially made MANSORY floor mats, colour-matched seat belts with MANSORY logos and countless other embroidered MANSORY logos.

Take a look at the YouTube video that shows the bonker Mansory-fettled Porsche 911 Turbo S that's bigger, wider, faster and badder (take that as you will) and will no doubt continue adding to the company's reputation of taking things a little to far. Do you think it's too much or would you rock it? We'd take it, check why: Mansory P9LM EVO Based On The Porsche 911 Turbo S | DPCcars
