THE NEW ROLLS-ROYCE PHANTOM SCINTILLA IS THE PINNACLE OF THE NEW PRIVATE COLLECTION - FOR BAZILLIONAIRES ONLY.

“Speed with silence, the absence of vibration, the mysterious harnessing of great energy, and a beautiful living organism of superb grace.” said Claude Johnson, Managing Director, Rolls-Royce Limited on the original brief for a Rolls‑Royce figurine in 1910. It seems the right people in the right positions have been doing the right things to make this applicable today.  "The unveiling of a Private Collection is always a landmark moment. These rare and collectable motor cars, limited to just a handful of examples worldwide, are true masterpieces. They illustrate the boundless ingenuity and skill of the creatives and craftspeople at the Home of Rolls-Royce and stimulate ideas among our clients for their own commissions. They also affirm Rolls-Royce’s status as an authentic luxury house. We do not simply build motor cars — we create rare, complex and exquisitely crafted super-luxury products that are highly prized by collectors today and will be cherished long into the future. Crafting exquisite Bespoke products and shaping extraordinary experiences directly responds to the requirements of today’s super-luxury consumers. This approach will continue to shape our business. We will grow our global network of VIP-only Private Office outposts, where our designers collaborate directly with our clients to co-create the most extraordinary motor cars, wherever they are in the world. We will expand our home in Goodwood to grow the scale of our Bespoke offering, and we will continue to craft the most intricate and sophisticated experiences and Bespoke luxury goods in the world. Phantom Scintilla, which honours our enduring muse, the Spirit of Ecstasy, is the perfect expression of these principles." says Chris Brownridge, Chief Executive, Rolls-Royce Motor Cars. Not only has the famed British automaker released a new example of its amazing products, but it also coincides with the 120th anniversary of the company’s iconic bonnet mascot, the Spirit of Ecstasy.

The Rolls-Royce Phantom Scintilla is limited to just ten examples worldwide to keep the renowned exclusivity of the brand intact. The Phantom Scintilla derives its name from the Latin word for ‘spark’ – a bright flash seen only for an instant and it refers to Claude Johnson’s first flash of inspiration for a mascot and captures the Spirit of Ecstasy’s grace which is only seen for a second as the car passes. On the Phantom Scintilla, the Spirit of Ecstasy was given a ceramic finish to mimic the texture of Parian marble, all fancy-like. The car’s exterior has a two-tone finish with the upper body in Andalusian White and the lower body in Thracian Blue. There’s also a subtle metallic flake to mimic the sparkle of sunlight on water. The double Coachline and Wheel Pinstripes in Spirit Blue are hand-painted, of course. The interior is packed with luxury materials along with a continuous graphic inspired by the Spirit of Ecstasy. The upholstery features a tatami stitch, which was applied over six layers, interlacing in varying degrees of density and complexity and the 869,500 stitches took over 40 hours to complete. The embroidered motif on the doors is made of 633,000 stitches alone, combining Blue Grey, Arctic White, Spirit Blue, Powder Blue and Pastel Yellow thread and it's illuminated through perforations. The embroidery sparkles and appears to glow from within. The centrepiece is a bespoke artwork in the Gallery running the full width of the front fascia and it‘s called Celestial Pulse. As you’d expect, the Phantom Scintilla also features an iconic Starlight Headliner. A better-built, more luxurious car does not exist.
