THIS BESPOKE MC20 FROM MASERATI FUORISERIE IS THE BEST OF THE TRIDENTS
In September, at Maserati’s historic home on Viale Ciro Menotti in Modena, something truly special rolled off the line: the MC20 Maserati per Maserati. This one-of-a-kind creation was crafted exclusively for two very special clients - Alberto and Ettore Maserati, grandchildren of Ettore Maserati, who co-founded the iconic brand in 1914 alongside his brothers Alfieri and Ernesto. Alberto and Ettore share more than just a famous last name; they’ve inherited their grandfather's passion for engines and making dreams a reality. The MC20 Maserati per Maserati is the tangible expression of that legacy, commissioned as a lasting tribute to both the brand and the family’s 110-year history in luxury and motorsport. For the Maserati brothers, this bespoke masterpiece serves as a symbol to pass on to their children, ensuring that the family’s deep connection with the Trident lives on. This extraordinary car is a 100% Modena-built masterpiece, embodying everything that’s made Maserati legendary well beyond the borders of Italy’s Motor Valley. The MC20, with its sleek coupé design and powerful 457 kW V6 Nettuno engine, has already cemented its status as Maserati’s halo car, and now, it takes on a whole new identity. Thanks to the brand’s Fuoriserie personalisation programme, this tailor-made version is elevated by intricate details and finishes that pay homage to Maserati’s rich heritage, creating a one-off vehicle that stands as both a tribute and a new icon. The MC20 Maserati per Maserati is more than just a car; it’s a symbolic heirloom, representing the DNA and history of a family whose values and passion have endured through generations. As the ultimate ambassador of the Trident, this bespoke supercar is destined to become a collector's item, a tangible piece of Italian excellence to be cherished for years to come.
The MC20 Maserati per Maserati encapsulates the essence of the brand, starting with its striking Blu Infinito livery, one of Maserati’s most iconic colours. The bold Bianco Pastello double stripe running across the body adds a sporty edge, while the subtle yet striking Grey Pastel Trident on the tonneau elegantly frames the roaring Nettuno engine beneath it. Carbon fibre accents, seen both inside and out, elevate the car’s already aggressive stance. The bespoke touches don’t end there - custom "Maserati per Maserati" and "Maserati Fuoriserie" logos grace the rear fender in Bianco Pastello, while "MC20 Maserati per Maserati" badges, featuring sleek black lettering on the body-colour background, are placed on the side. Topping it all off, the Rosso brake callipers and 20-inch Glossy Black wheels give the car a final flourish of high-performance character. Step inside, and the customisation continues with an interior that blends sportiness and luxury in true Maserati fashion. Alcantara dominates the cabin, complemented by Macrotwill carbon fibre accents on the Nero/Nero MC20 steering wheel. The interior’s Nero/Blu New finishes create a sleek contrast, while the six-way sports seats immerse the driver and passenger in comfort and precision. The dashboard and door panels feature a striking Nero/Blu Backing combo, and the seats sport a Nero-Blu Backing/Blu New finish, creating a harmonious balance of colour and craftsmanship. The handover of the MC20 Maserati per Maserati wasn’t just a delivery - it was a family reunion. In attendance were not only Ettore Maserati’s grandchildren but also his three great-grandchildren, alongside Carlo Maserati’s wife, who joined the celebration in memory of her late husband, who passed away in 2018. Luca Delfino, Maserati’s Global Chief Commercial Officer, presided over the event, flanked by Andrea Bertolini, Maserati’s Chief Test Driver, and Ermanno Cozza, a legendary figure who’s been with Maserati since 1951, when he started as an apprentice engine repairer at just 18 years old. The occasion also brought together a trio of classic Maseratis; a Maserati A6, a 6C34, and a 6CM - evoking a nostalgic family portrait of sorts, where past and present shared the spotlight
