THROWBACK TO WHEN TOP GEAR MADE A V8 BLENDER

Take a look at this throwback to when Jeremy Clarkson demonstrated the V8 kitchen blender on Top Gear.

Jeremy Clarkson, as we all know, is a huge fan of the mighty V8, V10 and of course the V12 engines but as sad as it is, they are a dying breed which are being replaced with smaller, more environmentally friendly turbocharged combustion alternatives and in the next decade or so will probably be replaced with fully electric alternatives.

On the 12th Season of Top Gear, Jeremy Clarkson discussed and humorously demonstrated a few examples of alternate uses for a V8 engine which involved combining the mighty V8 with a prop shaft which was connected to the blades of a home smoothy blender!

Although the concept will obviously never work practically, it was rather spectacular to see and with the original Top Gear trio, it was incredibly funny!
