TOP 10 FASTEST SUPERBIKES - WITH A BIT OF VIDEO PROOF FOR GOOD MEASURE.

In a world where the hypercar is the be all and end all of speed, on the 2-wheeled front they’re still called superbikes, we haven’t quite hit the world of hyperbikes yet. We don’t really need to either, the performance from current superbikes is phenomenal, if things get too fast then there’s going to be too much danger on the roads out there. A superbike isn’t quite the same as a supercar, I mean yeah, you get the performance, but you also get it at a much, much better price point. This means that ridiculously fast bikes can be owned by mere mortals who don’t own companies and portfolios and bitcoin mining plants. Sure there are some motorbikes that have eye-watering price tags, but beside the special edition race-spec things, the performance and speed you can get out of an entry-level superbike compared to an entry-level supercar is almost incomparable - the bikes blow the cars away without trying.

There’s the usual suspect when it comes to superbike manufacturers; Yamaha, Honda, Suzuki and Kawasaki are the Japanese contenders, but in recent years the German BMW entered the fray with an amazing bike, and of course the Italians have Ducati and Aprillia. There are a few other more niche brands, but only Lightning made this top 10 list of the world’s fastest superbikes. While everyone mentioned has a dog in this fight, we see no less than three superbikes from Kawasaki in the mix. Each bike featured also has a little bit of evidence to go with it, you know, to prove that fast is fast. Sure some of it is on public roads endangering lives and being very, very silly, but proof is proof.

This Top 10 Fastest Bikes In The World for 2022 comparison features the Yamaha YZF-R1M, the Suzuki Hayabusa, an Aprilia RSV4 1100 Factory, a BMW S1000RR, the Ducati Panigale V4R, a Kawasaki Ninja ZX-14R, the Honda CBR1000RR-R Fireblade SP, the niche entry, a Lightning LS-218, a Kawasaki Ninja H2 and also the Kawasaki Ninja H2R. All amazing machines, but you can’t help but wonder how eclectic bikes will affect their future. What do you think?

Take a look at the YouTube video that details all the current fastest superbikes in 2022, with a little bit of video evidence of them being ridden stupidly fast in possible not-so-legal environments: Top 10 Fastest Bikes In The World 2022 (With their Videos) | Thansis1997
