VIDEO: TOYOTA PROVES A LAND CRUISER CAN OUTRUN A LAFERRARI
Toyota has engineered a new speedy prize-winner - the Land Speed Cruiser.
Driven by NASCAR champ Carl Edwards, this beast reached 230 mph - and Toyota said it could have gone even faster if it had more distance.
In order to ensure that this speedy vehicle could produce more the 2000 hp, the MTC crew added two "volleyball-sized" Garrett turbochargers - spinning up to 55 PSI of boost. In addition, stronger pistons and rods and a custom intake manifold were built in to this wicked racer.
A custom racing transmission strong enough to handle this power abuse was put in too!
With this crazy-fast baby - no one will dare to call Toyota dull again.
