WHY IS TESLA THE UNDISPUTED ELECTRIC CHAMPION?
With an influx of electric vehicles from established vehicle manufacturers, why is Tesla still the undisputed electric champion? Let's find out...
Tesla moved the world forward in leaps and bounds when it launched on 1 July 2003. Three years later, Elon Musk, who was chairman at the time, said, "the overarching purpose of Tesla Motors... is to help expedite the move from a mine-and-burn hydrocarbon economy towards a solar electric economy."
It's not the kind of thing to say to a market that has burned fossil fuel to power their vehicles for over a century. But, with more and more evidence suggesting the increasing temperature of our planet, solar-powered cars made sense.
With that said, the company is the best selling EV manufacturer in the world, with more of the US market captured than its next three competitors combined. Even though that's only two percent of the US market currently.
But what makes Tesla the undisputed king of the EVs? Well, YouTuber, Nolan, at Donut Media did some investigating to find out. From the innovation to the drivability, manufacturing to sales, Nolan covers it all.
It's a terrific insight into the mind of Musk, so smash that play button below to find out more about why Tesla is the undisputed electric champion of the motoring world.
