1080HP JEEP VS TRAVIS PASTRANA'S SUBARU WRX STI
The blokes out at Hoonigan are no strangers to building some of the most outrageous and capable performance cars on the planet!
But that doesn't necessarily put them in the forefront of the fastest street cars built to date! As a matter of fact, Brend and Alex from Peitzperformance brought along their SUV, a 2018 Jeep Grand Cherokee Trackhawk. This beast makes a crazy 1080hp from its built 6.2-litre supercharged short block, has an 8-speed modified automatic gearbox, all-wheel-drive and weighs 5,400 lbs.
Travis Pastrana's 2020 Subaru WRX STi on the other hand, makes 862hp from its 2.3-litre turbo flat-four, has a 6-speed sequential gearbox, has all-wheel-drive and is far lighter at 2,623 lbs.
So on paper, it looks like a rather fair drag race, but it's anybody's race at this point!
