In just ten years, it has become one of the most respected restoration departments in the supercar world, ensuring that classic Lambos not only survive but thrive for future generations. To mark its tenth anniversary, Lamborghini has released a series of short films celebrating the work of Polo Storico, shining a spotlight on the processes that turn tired or forgotten classics into concours-ready masterpieces. Restoration here isn’t simply about making a car drivable again - it’s about rebirth.
At Polo Storico, no decision is left to chance. Every element, from the exact shade of paint to the weave of an interior fabric, is studied and compared against archival data. Even the tactile sensation of gripping an original steering wheel is considered. Traditional Italian craftsmanship is paired with modern technology - master artisans work alongside digital modelling and advanced manufacturing to recreate components that haven’t been in production for decades. The result is an authentic resurrection of each car, executed with the same rigour as building a brand-new Lamborghini fresh from the factory floor.

The anniversary celebrations are just as global as Lamborghini’s fan base. After making its international debut at the Pebble Beach Concours d’Elegance, Polo Storico will appear at Lamborghini Day UK and Lamborghini Day Japan, meeting with owners and collectors who cherish these machines. The celebrations will culminate in Bologna at the Auto e Moto d’Epoca classic car show from 23–26 October 2025.
