Home / Social media / News / Sheepey Race takes the 631 hp Lamborghini Huracán Performante to an insane 2 100 hp!

California-based Sheepey Race has made a name for itself over the last few years thanks to the absolutely bonkers turbo conversions they do on expensive supercars. Things started with the Audi R8, and it was a natural progression to also start fiddling with Lamborghinis. It’s crazy to think that there are people out there who want even more from their supercars, but when they do it’s places like Sheepey Race that get the work. These chaps have the recipe down, so they don’t even need to do the actual conversion on the car, they’re able to ship a complete twin-turbo conversion kit anywhere in the world so local millionaires can have their preferred local workshop take on the job. The company has just completed the build of a fully-forged setup on the 631 hp normally-aspirated 5.2-litre V10 from the Lamborghini Huracán Performante, and judging by the effortless and trouble-free dyno runs to get the tune nailed down, this conversion should be available to other Sheepey customers should they so desire. We know that we desire, a lot. This thing is absolutely mad with a completely ridiculous soundtrack.

Sheepey Race offers a host of performance upgrade packages ranging from mild to wild to WTactualF, and of course, the pricing of these kits matches what you get out of them. For the most intense conversion packages, the extensive modifications extend to the transmission too. Put it this way, if you live Stateside then a Lamborghini Huracán Performante will set you back a cool $350 000 or so. The top conversion offered at Seepey Race is called the Elite2000 which is rated at 2 000 hp to the wheels on ethanol fuel, and the listed price is $201,267 installed with tax. There’s a full transmission build listed too, but that’s a $65 000 affair, so we can surmise that having this conversion done to the Performante could have actually put a second Lamborghini in your garage. Some people certainly play at different levels, that’s some serious play money. It’s especially hectic when you think about how many Sheepey Race conversions are found around the world - even here in SA. Oh, and the power. Well, as you’ll see in the video, the car kicks out 2 100 hp to the rear rubber, and that’s more than three times the stock power of a Huracán Performante. Complete madness.

Take a look at the YouTube video that follows the Sheepey Race crew with some amazing behind-the-scenes footage along with some of the interesting information on the hows and why of the build and ending with putting the setup through its paces on a hub dyno - which is the part you need to turn the volume up during: SHEEPEYRACE BUILDS A 2100HP TWIN TURBO PERFORMANTE | Sheepey Race
