STEALTH MODE ACTIVATED - PORSCHE UNVEILS BLACK EDITION TAYCAN AND CAYENNE MODELS. MUCH LIKE.
Porsche has introduced a new Black Edition for the Taycan and Cayenne model lines, combining bold, blacked-out styling with high-end equipment and, in the Taycan’s case, a significant boost in range. The limited series makes its public debut at the 2025 Goodwood Festival of Speed before arriving in global markets later in the year. Whether you lean toward all-electric performance or SUV practicality, Porsche’s new Black Editions offer a sharper, moodier take on two of its most popular models, while bundling in a host of premium extras as standard. On both models, the Black Edition treatment starts with a deep dive into stealthy aesthetics. Expect high-gloss black accents on the Sport Design packages, side window trims, mirror housings, and model badging. Even the Porsche logo on the rear light strip gets the blackout treatment. Inside, things stay dark and elegant with brushed black aluminium trims, black leather upholstery, and laser-etched door sill guards with subtle illumination. The Taycan also gets a unique ‘Black Edition’ badge on the centre console. But black isn't the only way to roll. For both Taycan and Cayenne, Porsche offers a curated palette of alternative exterior colours - including shades like Volcano Grey Metallic, Dolomite Silver Metallic, and Carrara White. And for those who want something truly bespoke, the Paint to Sample programme unlocks a full spectrum of Porsche’s most exclusive tones.
The Taycan: Darker, Smarter, Longer Range
The Taycan Black Edition is available as either a sports sedan or Sport Turismo, with multiple drivetrain options. The big news? It now comes standard with the larger Performance Battery Plus, offering 105 kWh of gross energy capacity—up from the standard 93.4 kWh.
That boost translates to improved range and performance, with the base Taycan Black Edition sports sedan capable of up to 668 km WLTP, a 76 km (or 12%) increase over the standard version. Maximum output remains at a punchy 320 kW, and the added battery capacity also improves real-world usability.

BOSE® Surround Sound System with Dolby Atmos
Comfort front seats (14-way electric adjustment with memory function)
Lane Change Assist
Surround View with Active Parking Assist

The Cayenne: Stealth Meets Substance
Available as a traditional SUV or the swoopier Coupé, the Cayenne Black Edition adds even more visual bite. Alongside its high-gloss black detailing, it features HD Matrix LED headlights with darkened housings, ensuring the menacing look carries into the night.
The same level of luxury applies here too: Comfort front seats, BOSE® sound, Surround View, and a suite of driver aids come factory-fitted. The interior is dressed in black smooth leather with brushed black aluminium highlights for that clean, technical vibe.
Customisation: Your Way, the Porsche Way
Every Black Edition can be tailored further via Porsche Exclusive Manufaktur. The extended package includes:
