THE MANSORY FIRST EDITION IS A FORGED CARBON 1 OF 1 MASERATI MC20 MASTERPIECE

Forged carbon fibre was a big thing in 2022, partly spurred on by the fact that Toyota GR Yaris owners found that the roof of these little hot hatches to be forged carbon and many changed their cars to have it exposed and shown off. This lead to a bit of a craze in the  aftermarket tuning scene, companies that were able to created parts in forged carbon for a range of popular cars, and wrapping companies quickly produced a vinyl wrap so people could have a budget option to get the same look. Famed tuner and creator of one-off special editions, Mansory, has been at the forefront of creating forged carbon parts for supercars and hypercars and their latest creation ending off a successful 2022 is a one of one Maserati MC20 with a custom forged bodykit and a complete rework of the interior. Mansory doesn’t only work on the aesthetics of the cars they design kits for, they also have a department tasked with upgrading the performance too, and so this particular Maserati MC20 has also received a bump in power so that it has the bite to match the bark.

The Mansory First Edition is hot AF. The Maserati MC20 features enlarged air intakes in the front apron, a specially developed front lip give that works in conjunction with the supplementary flaps to significantly improve the downforce on the front axle, new widened wheel arches, replacement doors, new side cooling air intakes, an engine hood with cooling vents, a completely new rear wing, and a double diffuser with central brake light all in forged carbon fibre (besides the brake light of course). The result is a proper eyegasm. Newly developed and adapted suspension components and new one-piece, ultra-light forged rims 21- and 22-inch sizing were fitted along with high performance tyres to finish off the looks. On the engine side, the twin-turbocharged 3.0-litre V6 is up to 720 hp and 850 Nm from the OEM 630 hp and 730 Nm thanks to tweaking the ECU and the aforementioned exhaust system. The result is the ability to hit 100 km/h in just 2.7-seconds with a top speed of 330 km/h. "Along with Ferrari, Maserati is without a doubt one of the greatest names in automotive history ever," said Kourosh Mansory, CEO and founder of MANSORY Design and Holding GmbH. "With the MC20, an outstanding basic vehicle has now come onto the market that almost imposes itself on the needs and wishes of our customers and at the same time offers many conversion options, so that our first creation "MANSORY FIRST EDITION" will be followed very soon by further derivatives - based on the MC20 and the derived spider," Kourosh Mansory continues.
