What should you do when you come across a Mazda RX-7 that's ready for the junkyard? Well, you buy it and set about modifying it into a customised gem.

We join TJ Hunt and team in this 10-minute video as they save a tired Mazda RX-7 from the junkyard and turn it into a thing of beauty.

It's always a pleasure to see people breathe new life into an older vehicle. In this case, a Mazda RX-7. From a stock standard coupe that barely ran, to a completely custom JDM beast, these guys pulled out all the stops.

They stripped the car and had it repainted, reworked the motor and added in a larger turbo, bolted on an imposing body kit and found killer custom parts like the rear wing, mags and side mirrors. The interior received a complete make-over too and, all-in-all, the project turned out great. It's a flame-spitting rotary, what's not to like...
