VIDEO: TECHART'S 640HP PANAMERA TO DEBUT IN GENEVA
German tuning shop, Techart, has revealed they'll be displaying a few Porsche-based modified vehicles at this years' Geneva Motor Show.
There's going to be a Carbon Fibre Sport Package for the Porsche 911 GT3, a GTstreet R Cabriolet based on the 911 Turbo S, as well as a power kit for the Macan Turbo.
The big news, though, is that Techart is to bring its sublime Porsche Panamera Sport Turismo too. What's so exciting about that, you ask? Well, just flippen look at it!
For a start, the Panamera sports Techart's Grand GT Supreme styling package. That means massive 22-inch Formula IV wheels, a revised sports exhaust system wearing titanium/carbon-fibre tailpipes, not to mention that striking Racing Green custom paint job.
It's not all show though, for under that large bonnet sits the Panamera Turbo’s 4.0-litre twin-turbo V8 powerplant tweaked to pump out 640 hp and 664 lb-ft of torque – that's up 90hp and 97 lb-ft on the standard mill – which converts to a claimed 0-62 mph time of 3.4 seconds.
As impressive as this all sounds, it's the interior that'll have heads turning, mainly because of the sheer volume of Nappa leather used. The cowhide covers everything, from the steering wheel to the door panels, footwells, roof lining and more, with complimentary multi-coloured stitching to neatly finish it off.
It may not be everyone's taste, and there's no pricing available just yet, but it will certainly make your $155 000+ Panamera stand out in the crowd.
