AMERICAN PSYCHO, A 450KW BEAST FROM 1969!
Old Chevys don't die they just get faster and more insane!
When most people think about older model cars, they think, slow, full of rust, dodgy and so forth, but they'd be sadly mistaken thinking the same about this 69' Chevrolet Camaro SS. This old gal is probably in the best shape of her life. She's doesn't have a spot of that ugly car cellulite aka rust on her and has had a heart transplant with an epic heart now beating inside her. That comes in the form of a stroked 502CI Big Block Chevy motor with Edelbrock hooked headers while fuel is fed into the motor with an Edelbrock carburetor and cold air gets sucked into the motor via a shiny Edelbrock air cleaner helping this motor to pump out a tyre-shredding 450kW from its rear wheels. We all know automatic transmissions are for lazy people so this baby runs a 5 Speed Tremec manual gearbox instead.
With all that newly acquired power the stock brakes just wouldn't cut it, so a set of front and rear BMW M5 brakes were bolted onto the wheel hubs, helping the car stop on a dime. More rubber is always welcome with such a powerful car, so this meant bigger wheels, but before that could be done, this girl had to have a little hip operation, with her rear arches being flared as well as being vented so that the new wider wheels and tyres could tuck nicely underneath. The new wheels that were fitted are proper badass Work Rezax 2-piece split wheels that measure in at 20 inches, along with some reallly wide tyres and they suit the car perfectly.
Finally no car is complete without a trick interior, so the original interior was retrimmed with black leather, along with new custom seats and a finally a Billet steering wheel.
Muscle cars are definitely some of the coolest and most unique rides to own and this one right here is one of the best!
