THE BRABUS 900 BENTLEY CONTINENTAL GTC SPEED - A GRAND TOURER WITH ITS OWN GRAVITATIONAL PULL.

BRABUS has spent nearly fifty years sculpting cars into rolling declarations of intent, and now the Bentley Continental GTC Speed joins that exclusive pantheon. The arrival of the BRABUS 900 marks a fresh chapter for the Bottrop artisans; a British heavyweight dressed in hyper-GT tailoring, elevated into a rare dimension of authority and theatre. With 662 kW, 1100 Nm and a 2.9-second launch to triple digits, this creation behaves less like a convertible and more like a continent-compressor softened by couture. Everything begins with what BRABUS calls its 1-Second-Wow. Before the engine even clears its throat, the bodywork already delivers a jolt. The exposed-structure carbon exterior is no mere garnish; it’s the signature flourish of the brand. A completely reimagined fascia reshapes the GTC’s first impression, sharpening the car’s presence and boosting cooling to the radiators and front brakes. The lower zone, sculpted from naked carbon, gathers airflow like a hungry turbine while reducing front-axle lift at speed. The rear follows suit with a carbon spoiler and diffuser framing four carbon-sheathed titanium tailpipes from the stainless-steel BRABUS high-performance exhaust system. Finished in either glossy sculpture or matte stealth, the carbon textures breathe life into the “Pale Brown” show specification, turning the whole car into a slow-burning visual knockout.

Under the surface hums an enhanced hybrid powertrain crafted with the kind of obsessive engineering BRABUS has built its legend on. The 4.0-litre V8 Biturbo receives a newly developed boost system, including two BRABUS high-performance turbochargers and a flow-optimised carbon intake. Recalibrated mapping for ignition, injection, and boost pressure allows the combustion engine to deliver 522 kW and 900 Nm on its own. Bentley’s factory 140 kW electric motor stays in the mix, resulting in a monstrous combined output of 662 kW and 1100 Nm. It’s a drivetrain that drinks MOTUL’s finest lubricants while laughing at the idea of mechanical stress. With an eight-speed dual-clutch transmission channelling the violence, 0 to 100 km/h happens in 2.9 seconds, before an electronically limited maximum of 285 km/h.

Performance meets theatre via the valve-controlled BRABUS sports exhaust. Active sound management lets the driver decide whether the moment calls for operatic thunder or a discreet glide through the city. The stance is reinforced by 22-inch Monoblock ZM PLATINUM EDITION wheels developed specifically for the GTC. Twenty elegantly carved spokes radiate from a motorsport-inspired center hub cover, each wheel forged and CNC-sculpted for maximum strength and minimum weight. Floating BRABUS hub caps add a little extra swagger. Up front, 10Jx22 running 275/35 ZR 22 tyres fill the arches; at the rear, broader 11.5Jx22 wheels dressed in 315/30 ZR 22 rubber push traction and stability toward supercar levels. A BRABUS lowering system trims about 20 millimeters from the ride height, sharpening responses without eroding the Bentley’s grand touring serenity.

Inside, the BRABUS Masterpiece treatment turns the cabin into a sanctuary of texture, detail, and quiet indulgence. “Nocturne Brown” leather stretches across every surface, shaped and quilted in the BRABUS “Shell” pattern, complete with perforation and embossed Double-B crests. Even the floor sections and luggage compartment echo the same motif, creating a single visual identity from nose to tail. Door panels and side trims ripple with embossed Shell elements, while the dashboard hosts a bespoke BRABUS timepiece that feels like a secret handshake among those who know. Illuminated BRABUS entry panels made from exposed carbon greet the occupants, and the cabin gets further definition through carbon trims, anodised aluminium switchgear, and BRABUS-badged pedals and footrest glowing quietly from below. It’s not just an interior; it’s a curated atmosphere, the kind that makes even a short trip feel like an appointment worth savouring.
