THIS IS THE WORLD'S FIRST 1000HP TWIN-TURBO PORSCHE GT3RS

That's right, readers, this is the first 1000hp 2019 twin-turbo Porsche GT3RS in the world and, just like the intro to this video, it's bloody awesome.

Porsche purists may be aghast, but the rest of us don't care, really, twin-turbos on a 2019 GT3RS sounds like a brilliant idea.

Since this video, the car now makes 1000hp thanks to a 13.3:1 compression ratio, this car is super fast. The aero kit is completely custom race-spec and is absolutely menacing with that massive rear wing that helps the sticky Michelin's keep the beast planted to the tarmac.

This 991.2 GT3RS also has a custom exhaust that manages to retain, basically, the same deep-tone of the original naturally aspirated engine, albeit much louder. And that's no mean feat considering it now has two turbos spooling out the back of the car.

Let's talk about the livery, which seemed to have caused a bit of a furore online because another famous YouTube channel has done a similar thing. Well, Mondi explains that the designer of the wrap is actually the same guy who designed the racecar that his brother races in Europe, and that is actually the inspiration. Either way, we don't care, it looks the bomb!

There is still more to come as the owner, Mondi, is planning a new suspension kit that will cope with track use while allowing it to be comfortable on the road too. He is definitely not the type of guy who does this for show, he's definitely one of those petrolheads who will drive it like he means it.

We'll bring you updates on this incredibly nuts twin-turbo GT3RS and Mondi's other really cool projects too, like a few Lamborghini's, and the rebuild of a crashed Rauh-Welt Porsche 911.
