VIDEO: SPOILER ALERT! THE HAMSTER SURPRISES IN THE FIRST EPISODE OF THE GRAND TOUR
If you haven't had the chance to watch the first episode of The Grand Tour's second season, stop what you are doing and check it out immediately.
The video below – for those fanatics who have not seen it – showcases one of the most memorable segments from the trio's Swiss road trip in the Rimac Concept_One, Lamborghini Aventador S, and Honda NSX, showing just how quick the Croatian electric hypercar is.
Filmed before Richard Hammond's unfortunate crash onboard the Rimac, the drag race took place at an airfield in Switzerland and marks a return to the form of the three ex-Top Gear hosts.
To be fair to the Aventador and NSX, the Rimac is in a totally different performance class, so it’s no surprise that it wiped the floor with the two supercars. In fact, the Concept_One used in the film delivers 1,224 horsepower – thanks to four electric motors – and a 90 kWh battery pack. This allows it to reach 100 km/h in 2.5 seconds and a top speed of 354 km/h.
