IT'S COMING! THE NEW ACURA NSX

Out with the old - In with the new Acura NSX!

We all know and love Acura, back when we hung out at the arcades playing ridge racer, dreaming of the day when we would be racing that streamline, japanese super beast gracefully waiting to burst out of that poster hanging on the bedroom wall.

With the last NSX going off the production line all the way back in 2005, there was a crack in the earth. As a supercar dream was crushed seemingly forever...

But then, out of the ashes of what we thought was forgotten, rose a new hope, a new dream! For both the young iPad playing gen and the older, as a classic re-awakens. 

The new Acura NSX! This year just got a whole lot sexier, and even though Acura has not announced the price, sources suggest an estimated $130 000 price tag.

Ok...so here are the details, just to give us an idea of whats new:

Out comes the shared 3.2-liter V-6 engine—producing 290 hp and 224 ft lbs of torque and in goes an all-new, longitudinally mounted, dry-sump, twin-turbo, four-cam, 75-degree 3.5-liter V-6.

A new, nine-speed dual-clutch gearbox integrated with an electric motor drives the rear wheels and collaborates with two electric motors that power the front wheels. Total output is a secret, but plan on more than 550 horsepower. This Japanese samurai back on the scene with Ferrari...
