SPOFEC ROLLS-ROYCE SPECTRE BLACK BADGE – WHEN QUIET LUXURY GOES FULL VILLAIN MODE

If the standard Rolls-Royce Spectre Black Badge is what Bruce Wayne drives to dinner, the SPOFEC version is what he takes when he’s in a mood. The German custom kings from the NOVITEC Group have taken Rolls-Royce’s most powerful production car ever - the 485 kW (659 hp), 1,075 Nm twin-motor Spectre - and turned the volume up without ever touching the electric drivetrain. This is refinement by attitude, not necessity. SPOFEC (short for SPirit OF ECstasy, naturally) specialises in tailoring only the finest from Goodwood, and this project takes the idea of “bespoke” to new extremes. Every body panel added to the two-door electric grand tourer is finished in exposed carbon fibre - not just for flex, but to add a sharper, sportier edge to the otherwise stately silhouette. The new front end wears SPOFEC inserts with integrated LED position markers and a subtle front spoiler that doesn’t just look menacing; it reduces front-axle lift at speed. The iconic illuminated Rolls-Royce grille still glows like a cathedral at night, but now it sits framed by carbon aggression that whispers, I’m not here to play. Around back, the treatment continues - carbon diffuser fins and a lip spoiler give the three-ton electric battleship a hint of GT racer posture while improving aerodynamic balance. Even the side profile gets the full SPOFEC attention, thanks to deep rocker panels that visually drop the car closer to the ground.

As always with NOVITEC, the wheels are a centrepiece - and here they’ve teamed up with American wheel maestros Vossen for a truly outrageous setup. The new 10Jx24 SP4 forged wheels fill the arches perfectly, wrapped in 295/30 ZR 24 rubber at all four corners. Each wheel features an intricate twin-layer spoke design - 17 pairs of offset spokes that create depth and movement even when the car’s standing still. The hub bolts are hidden behind a sleek centre cap for that ultra-clean finish. If that isn’t enough choice, SPOFEC and Vossen will happily offer two other wheel designs in a palette of 48 colours, with optional polished finishes - because nothing says subtlety like colour-matched forged alloys on a £400,000 electric Rolls.

The finishing touch is a custom suspension kit that lowers the Spectre by 35 mm. That might sound dramatic, but this isn’t some stance-boy chop job - SPOFEC’s engineers managed to give the coupe a more aggressive stance and sharper handling without sacrificing that signature Rolls-Royce float. Comfort remains untouchable, just with more swagger.

Inside, SPOFEC’s bespoke craftsmanship continues - though that’s down to the owner's taste and imagination. From the leathers and stitching to the trim finishes, anything’s possible. Think starlight headliners, wild colours, or the most reserved understatement imaginable - it’s all on the menu. So while the drivetrain remains gloriously untouched - no need to mess with 659 horsepower worth of silent surge - SPOFEC’s Spectre Black Badge proves that even in the age of electrification, excess is still alive and well.
