THE MASERATI GRANTURISMO 110 ANNIVERSARIO CELEBRATES THE HISTORY OF THE TRIDENT

Maserati, the legendary House of the Trident, celebrates its 110th anniversary with a tribute to its heritage of performance, craftsmanship, and innovation: the GranTurismo 110 ANNIVERSARIO. This limited-edition series bridges past and future, showcasing Maserati's timeless Italian luxury and the adoption of electric assistance. Founded in Bologna, Italy, in 1914 by the Maserati brothers - Alfieri, Ettore, and Ernesto - the brand began as one of the pioneers in automotive engineering. With a focus on crafting race-winning engines and cars, Maserati’s first creation, the Tipo 26, made its debut in 1926, carrying the now-iconic Trident emblem inspired by Neptune's statue in Bologna’s Piazza Maggiore. Over the decades, Maserati has evolved from dominating racetracks to setting standards for luxury cars. It’s no wonder it’s earned its place as a symbol of Italian wealth and style. The GranTurismo 110 ANNIVERSARIO has a legit breathtaking design, and it also marks a first in Maserati history to feature a 100% electric powertrain in its sibling Folgore version. It is, as expected, a limited edition affair and so there will only ever be just 110 of these in the world - one for each year of Maserati's journey - the series offers two exclusive configurations, splitting that 110 into two versions of 55 cars. The Rame Folgore: Showcasing a striking copper hue, with black and copper accents. The Blu Inchiostro: Finished in a deep, ink-inspired blue, complemented by bespoke blue and copper detailing. Both versions feature distinctive interiors crafted from sustainable materials, such as denim or black Econyl, accented with stitching in copper or blue.

The hallmark of this edition is its bespoke 110 ANNIVERSARIO logo. Positioned on the C-pillar, the tilted Trident and "110" reportedly symbolise Maserati’s continuous drive for innovation and dynamism. This same logo will grace Maserati’s Tipo Folgore single-seater that is set to debut in the ABB FIA Formula E World Championship later in December, and it will also be wearing a stunning blue and rose gold livery. The GranTurismo 110 ANNIVERSARIO will take centre stage at the exclusive Trident Experience, a two-day celebration of Maserati's milestone. Very lucky guests will be treated to over a century of the brand’s history and modern identity, starting with an unveiling at Maserati’s iconic Viale Ciro Menotti showroom on November 30. Maserati’s mission has always been to redefine luxury mobility, and the GranTurismo 110 ANNIVERSARIO exemplifies this vision by uniting its heritage with cutting-edge technology, Maserati continues to lead the way into the future of Italian excellence - celebrating 110 years of driving passion forward. The GranTurismo 110 ANNIVERSARIO features an innovative powerplant that’s headed up with an all-electric powerplant that’s as powerful as it is efficient. Power is rated at a healthy 559 kW with a massive 1,350 Nm of torque, and that is enough to get the sizeable car up to 100 km/h in as little as 2.7 seconds. That’s rather rapid, especially for something that’s really meant to be more of a luxurious GT-style cruiser than a hypercar with performance that makes most ICE cars pale in comparison.
